A meeting of project partners from Slovenia, Italy, Poland and Slovakia took place in Piran, Slovenia. As part of the project, a series of materials are being created for local environment animators and providers of training for animators. In 2022 was prepared a publication presenting the profession of local community animator, with collection of more than 20 good practices (result 1). In 2023 e-courses for animators (result 2) and an interactive E-booklet (result 3) are being prepared. All materials will be freely available on the project website.

The main topic of this meeting was the preparation of the last result of the project, namely the E-booklet that will contain main information about the profession of an animator of the local environment, a list of skills needed in this job, and list of good practices with the use of non-standard training tools.

During the meeting, the partners also discussed the administrative and financial aspects of project management, dissemination, and sustainable use of the project results.

The Local environment animator is a 20-month project. The project ends on November 30, 2023.
