In this module you will gain knowledge and skills related to stress management, which you can use in your work as a local community animator. By acquiring the skills of stress management, i.e. by switching from automatic responses to strategic stress management, you can improve the adequacy of reactions in stressful situations, strengthen the ability to release tension and develop methods of relaxation. The ability to manage stress by the local community animator has a huge impact on the quality and efficiency of his/her work.

The main purpose of this module is to develop a course enabling animators to implement stress management techniques in their daily professional and personal life. After completing this module you will be able to manage stress better and improve the quality of your professional tasks, especially those related to stress load.

  • You will learn to identify sources of stress and recognize its first symptoms
  • You will identify your personal stressors, especially those appearing in your work as a local community animator, learn your stress response patterns,
  • You will learn different methods and techniques for dealing with stress.
